Iranian students seeking high school education in T\u00fcrkiye took a sweat at the Foreign Student Selection Test organized by the T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Foundation and the Ministry of National Education (MEB) in Tehran, within the framework of “international student scholarships”.<\/span><\/p>\n The exam, which starts today at the Yunus Emre Institute Cultural Center in Tehran, is scheduled to take two days, and consists of two phases, written and oral.<\/span><\/p>\n Numerous students who come to Tehran from the remote regions of Iran to take the exam are competing to get an education at Imam Hatip High Schools in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/span><\/p>\n They came from some of the most remote areas of Iran<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abdulaziz Perniyanpur, one of the parents of the students who took the exam, said in a statement that they came to Tehran from Iranshahr, Sistan-Balochistan province, for this exam.<\/span><\/p>\n Perniyanpur said, \u201cWe came here so that our children can receive scholarships and complete their education in T\u00fcrkiye. We want our children to complete their higher education and achieve success, that is why we are here.\u201d said.<\/span><\/p>\n Iranian student Mohammad Ali stated that he learned Turkish from the films he watched and said, “I came from the city of Silver Hill in Golestan province. I came here because I wanted to study in T\u00fcrkiye. I love T\u00fcrkiye extremely, that’s why I’m taking the exam here.”<\/span><\/p>\n Another student, Mohammad Malik, said he came to Tehran from Chabahar city in Sistan-Baluchistan province to take the exam.<\/span><\/p>\n Malik, who stated that they were 9 siblings, six boys, and three girls, said that he was a 9th-grade student, that he had memorized 25 juz of the Holy Quran, and that he was an Imam during Ramadan.<\/span><\/p>\n Bekir Akman, Director of International Pendik K\u0131z Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, who took part in the exam committee, stated that students from over 100 countries received education in T\u00fcrkiye within this program.<\/span><\/p>\n Akman said, “We currently have 108 students from 60 countries in our school. We first teach good Turkish to our students from different parts of the world. They start speaking Turkish from the first semester of the 9th grade.”<\/span><\/p>\n Stating that foreign students started to receive education in Imam Hatip schools like Turkish students, Akman said, “We do not provide an education different from the education we give to Turkish students during high school education. I hope that after the training is over, our students will be the ambassadors of T\u00fcrkiye in hundreds of countries around the world.”<\/span><\/p>\n Murat \u00dcnal, Student Affairs Specialist at the Directorate of Education and Cultural Services of the T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Foundation, stated that they came to Tehran to conduct interviews with the students who had previously applied for Diyanet scholarships.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00dcnal expressed that they were satisfied with the applications and said, “85 students applied in Iran. Our interviews are now continuing. The wishes and success of the students who have come so far are very good.”<\/span><\/p>\n Stating that they collaborated with the MEB on the acquisition and training of qualified students to project schools, especially project schools that receive students with the exam, \u00dcnal stated that they offered students the opportunity to receive education in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00dcnal stated that the students had the opportunity to interact with the students from different regions of the world in the schools they went to and said, “Our students can benefit from each other as a result of consultation both culturally and educationally.”<\/span><\/p>\n Stating that students can also be educated in theology Faculty after the education of Imam Hatip High School, \u00dcnal said, \u201cIf they want, they have started their graduate education within the scope of Diyanet scholarships, and we are providing them with education according to their qualifications.\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
