T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has launched Qurbani meat distributions in four regions of Mauritania as part of its \u201cQurbani on behalf of our donors Program.\u201d<\/p>\n
On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, which began in the country on June 7, TDV officials and volunteers arrived in Mauritania and dispersed to various regions.<\/p>\n
Following the Eid prayer, the teams began the Qurbani process in Brakna, Nouakchott, Hodh Ech Chargui, and Hodh El Gharbi.<\/p>\n
As per Islamic guidelines, the names of the donors who entrusted their Qurbani to TDV are recited before each Qurbani, followed by Takbir (praise of Allah) during the slaughter.<\/p>\n
The entire process is recorded on video and can be shared with donors upon request.<\/p>\n
Through donations made under the Qurbani Program, TDV plans to distribute approximately 19,000 shares of Qurbani meat to needy families across Mauritania.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
