Volunteers of the T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) brought joy to the needy by delivering charitable donations to vulnerable communities in Madagascar.<\/p>\n
As part of TDV\u2019s 2025 Qurbani on behalf of our donors program, the volunteers continued distributing both Qurbani meat and additional aid throughout the region.<\/p>\n
With care and compassion, the volunteers ensured that 4,900 shares of qurbani meat reached the needy, winning the hearts of the local community.<\/p>\n
After the meat was prepared, they delivered it to orphanages, mosques, and remote villages and brought smiles to children\u2019s faces with the gifts they carried.<\/p>\n
Fatih Koca, a volunteer with TDV and a professor at Ankara University\u2019s Faculty of Theology, confirmed that the distribution of Qurbani meat is ongoing as part of their efforts in Madagascar.<\/p>\n
Koca stated that they have touched the hearts of thousands through their outreach:<\/p>\n
\u201cThis morning, we visited orphanages to distribute meat from the Qurbani animals slaughtered earlier in the day. We spent time with the children and delivered the Qurbani meat entrusted to us by our nation to the needy. We are currently in a village, continuing the distribution of meat on behalf of the T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Foundation.\u201d<\/p>\n
He described emotional moments experienced during their efforts, adding:<\/p>\n
\u201cWe feel both joy and deep emotion. When we distribute the Qurbani meat donated by our people, locals express their happiness and share that they have been eagerly awaiting us, as they remember TDV\u2019s past efforts fondly.\u201d<\/p>\n
“We are here to touch hearts and be part of their Dua in return”<\/p>\n
Aykut Burak \u015eim\u015fek, the Corporate Communications Coordinator of the T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), stated that TDV staff and volunteers are currently on Katsipi Island for the Qurbani meat distribution.<\/p>\n
He noted that they came together with their Muslim brothers and sisters living on the island, and added:<\/p>\n
\u201cThey said, \u2018Eid starts when the Turks arrive. Otherwise, it\u2019s just another day, but thanks to you, we get to eat meat once a year.\u2019<\/p>\n
We\u2019re distributing 560 Qurbani shares. We\u2019re here to connect hearts and receive heartfelt Dua.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u015eaban Keser, a TDV volunteer from Germany who traveled to Madagascar, said:<\/p>\n
\u201cI signed up for the organization as a volunteer and was fortunate to come. It was a deeply emotional experience. You have to see it to understand. Knowing that many here eat meat only once a year, during Eid al-Adha, touched me deeply. We visited orphanages it’s not easy. I recommend everyone come and witness the situation for themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ali Er\u00e7erman, a member of Salzburg Yunus Emre Mosque, also participated as a volunteer and shared:<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re experiencing a beautiful spirit of Eid here. The people here have a special affection for Turkish people. The Qurbani meat was distributed to the needy, and we witnessed it firsthand. I highly recommend this experience to others.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\t\t
