Food, clothing, and other fuel products that will be collected will be delivered to Idlib in the fundraising campaign initiated by the Siirt Mufti and Turkiye Diyanet Foundation with the theme of “Follow The Charity.”
Governor Osman Hacıbektasoğlu visited the aid tent on Güres Street with accompanying Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Uğur Ertekin and Police Chief Hakan Yılmazoğlu and learned about the campaign from the relevant parties.
Hacıbektasoğlu said that both cash and in-kind aid were received for the campaign launched for the Idlib residents.
Hacıbektasoğlu said that the community always tries to help those in need in Turkiye and abroad as much as possible. “We expect the support of the citizens of Siirt in this campaign as well. During winter, thousands of people struggle for life with children, women, and elderly people. We need to do our best to meet their food, clothing, and fuel needs and deliver to them,” he said.
Vehap Kapicioglu, Provincial Mufti and Head of the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation Branch, also thanked those who supported the campaign.
