The Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) and the Turkish Islamic Union of Religious Affairs (DITIB) distributed Eid allowance to 40 students in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Bosnian Compassionate Association.

The program, organized at the Compassionate Association’s office with the participation of the Turkish Embassy in Sarajevo religious Services Counselor, Dr. Yunus Keleş and Compassionate Association President Kenan Vrbanjac, provided Eid allowance to 40 successful students.

In a statement, Keleş said they were pleased to work with the Compassionate Association, adding that the association has reached many people through its networks.

Explaining that their purpose is to “touch and delight people.” Keleş said, “We aim to strengthen the historical, cultural, and spiritual ties of these people. We have no intention of advertising gifts, but the people who present them want to know where they’re going. In this context, we wanted to make this program and present the Eid allowances to successful students.”

Vrbanjac thanked the Religious Services Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in Sarajevo for their assistance and support.
