21 international students of Turkish origin, who were offered scholarships by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation within the scope of the International Theology Program, graduated from the Faculty of Theology of Ankara University.
The graduation ceremony, which was held in the conference hall of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, was attended by the families of the students who are citizens of European countries as well as faculty members.
Speaking at the ceremony, Burhan İşliyen, Vice President of Religious Affairs, said that the International Theology Program will be one of the most respected works in the history of Diyanet decades later.
Emphasizing that it is important to invest in people, İşliyen stated that the recovery of a person sometimes corrects the world.
Türkiye Diyanet Foundation General Manager İzani Turan thanked the teachers of Ankara University Faculty of Theology for their efforts for the students.
At the end of the ceremony, 21 students of Turkish origin who came from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and Italy received their graduation diplomas.
The graduates can serve as the teacher of the Holy Quran course, and as religious officials in the countries where they are interviewed by the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
