Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) organized a Qurbani slaughter organization in Kazakhstan.
In Almaty, Shymkent, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Astana, Aktobe, and Jambyl regions of Kazakhstan, slaughters under the supervision of TDV representatives and volunteers started to be carried out after the Eid al-Adha prayers.
Ibrahim Uslu, Vice President of the Supreme Council of Radio and Television (RTÜK), Emrullah Üzüm, Religious Services Attaché of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Almaty, and Bahadır Yenişehirlioğlu, a writer and actor known for his role as “Derviş” in the series “Barbaroslar: The Sword of the Mediterranean” with the character of “Tahsin Pasha” in the series “Payitaht Abdülhamid”, also participated in the organization in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
RTÜK Vice President İbrahim Uslu, who took part in the organization, said that this year’s event was the third organization in which he took part.
Uslu, who stated that TDV had previously held Eid-al-Adha activities in Tanzania and Uganda, said, “Today we are in our ancestral home with our siblings. This Eid is not with our family, but our family knows very well that we are a part of very important work in the distribution of the Qurbani meat here with Türkiye Diyanet Foundation. I am also very honored to be a part of this work.”
Emrullah Üzüm, Religious Services Attaché of the Consulate in Almaty in Kazakhstan for two years, said that the aid provided by benefactors in oppressed geographies, especially during Eid Al Adha, has contributed to Türkiye’s image.
