TDV distributes Qurbani meat to the needy in Kyrgyzstan

Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) organized Qurbani and its distribution organization in Kyrgyzstan with the slogan “Share your Qurbani, get closer to your brother”.

On the occasion of Eid Al Adha, after the slaughters in the Chuy Region of Kyrgyzstan under the supervision of TDV officials and volunteers, the meats were packaged and delivered to the needy.

The Qurbani meat of the donors were distributed to needy families who were determined in advance, in the courtyard of the Central Imam Serahsi Mosque in Bishkek.

Mürsel Öztürk, Counselor for Religious Services at the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek, said in a statement that they plan to deliver Qurbani meat to about 10,000 families in Kyrgyzstan.

Rap music artist Resul Aydemir, who is part of the team of TDV Kyrgyzstan Kurban Program Manager Ebubekir Kaynak, who came to Kyrgyzstan, and Sertaç Güngör, who produces game videos on YouTube under the name “Sertaç Abi”, distributed balloons and candy with Turkish flags to children. Meyli Anarkulova, who was involved in the aid of Qurbani, said, “I would like to thank our Turkish siblings who made the people of Kyrgyzstan happy by distributing Qurbani meat during Eid Al Adha. May Almighty Allah be pleased with the Turkish people and the President. May your life be long,” he said.
