The Malaysian MAPIM Association has launched an aid campaign for those affected by the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes, which are described as the “disaster of the century”.
Following the 7.7-magnitude earthquake centered in Kahramanmaras, aid is coming from all over the world to the disaster victims in Türkiye. Malaysia MAPIM Association, a partner organization of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, has also launched an aid campaign to heal the wounds of earthquake victims.
Malaysia MAPIM Association President Dr. Sani Araby, who arrived in the earthquake region with his team, announced that they would provide 4.6 million TL in the first stage.
Dr. Sani Araby stated that 50 containers are on the way and that they will offer them to the disaster victims. Noting that 50 containers were arranged to meet the disaster victims’ needs, Araby said, “Türkiye and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation have always stood by Malaysia. We could not remain indifferent to what happened here, so we moved to the region with our teams. The Dua and aid of the Malaysian people are with you. We will visit all earthquake zones and realize our aid.”
