The Türkiye Diyanet Foundation distributed Qurbani meat to needy families in Kazakhstan

During Eid al-Adha, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) distributed Qurbani meat to disabled people and needy families in Kazakhstan.

TDV slaughtered 100 cattle in the country during this Eid within the scope of the “Qurbani on Behalf Program.”

Dr. Neşet Bodur, Religious Affairs Counselor at the Turkish Embassy in Astana, Kazakhstan, stated in his announcement that as of yesterday, they have completed Qurbani slaughters in 4 major cities of Kazakhstan.

Bodur mentioned that they started distributions today and that they will distribute approximately 700 shares of Qurbani meat in the country during Eid. He stated, “We slaughtered 100 cattle in Kazakhstan. Of these, 40 were in Astana, 30 in Almaty, 20 in Shymkent, and 10 in Turkistan.”

Bodur stated that they first distributed the shares of Qurbani meat to disabled individuals and needy families in Kazakhstan, saying, “We are sharing the Qurbanies we slaughtered during Eid al-Adha with our brothers and sisters.” Eid are occasion where love, unity, and companionship are at their peak. He expressed, “On this occasion, I extend my congratulations to all our brothers and sisters around the world and in our heartland.”
