As part of the Qurbani on behalf of our donors program themed “Share Your Qurbani, get closer to your Brother,” organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, animal inspections were conducted in Mozambique’s Tete Province.
With Eid al-Adha set to begin tomorrow in the region, TDV volunteers and officials in Tete have finalized their preparations.They proceeded to the slaughter site to inspect the Qurbani animals.
The teams examined the animals to assess their health status, confirm they qualify as Qurbani animals, and ensure they meet Islamic slaughtering requirements.
TDV volunteer Mehmet Pehlivan reported that they carried out inspections at the slaughter sites.
“With Eid Al Adha starting tomorrow, we are carefully selecting the animals and making sure they comply with Islamic principles,” said Pehlivan. “Alongside our fellow volunteers, we’re getting everything ready for the big day.”
