
Within the scope of the “My Present Is Quran” project carried out by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), copies of the holy Qur’an were distributed to the people of Tete province in Mozambique, a country in Southeastern Africa.
Copies of the holy Quran translated into Portuguese were handed out by TDV volunteers and officials at Masjid Alkhaleel in Caunje.
Said Doğan, a TDV volunteer, said he was grateful and honored to be present.
Said Doğan shared that this was the first time the people of Caunje had come into contact with the holy Quran and said, “We are deeply joyful and grateful to be here and to distribute holy Qurans translated into Portuguese within the framework of the ‘My Present Is Quran’ initiative.”
