Fatih KAYACAN
Deputy General Manager of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation

Born in 1976 in Bolvadin, Afyonkarahisar, Fatih Kayacan completed both his primary education and Qur’anic memorization studies in Kütahya. He then attended Kütahya High School and subsequently graduated from the Faculty of Theology at Marmara University in 1999.

He received his Master’s degree in 2002 from Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Philosophy and Religious Education, with a thesis entitled “The 1947 CHP 7th Congress Discussions on Religious Education and Their Reflections.” He served as a teacher in the Ministry of National Education between 1999 and 2005.

In 2005, he left public service and assumed the position of Director of Corporate and Chain Store Sales at one of Türkiye’s leading industrial enterprises, later serving as the Regional Distributor for the Marmara and Western Black Sea regions within the same company. During his university years, Fatih Kayacan held positions on the “Faculty Executive Board” of certain foundations, and beyond this, he actively engaged in civil society activities through various associations and foundations.

As of May 1, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Director General Manager of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation.

He possesses intermediate proficiency in Arabic.

He is married and the father of two children.
