TDV Delegation Visits Ambassador Neziroğlu in Islamabad, Pakistan

As part of the 2026 Qurbani Program, a delegation from the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) visiting Pakistan met with Türkiye’s Ambassador to Islamabad, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan Neziroğlu. 

The meeting took place at the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad and included Diyanet Academy, President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Enver Osman Kaan, Mardin Mufti, and TDV Branch President Dr. Enver Türkmen, along with other TDV representatives. 

Ambassador Neziroğlu received information regarding TDV’s humanitarian and charitable activities in Pakistan and emphasized Türkiye’s continued commitment to international humanitarian aid. 

Highlighting the strong historical and brotherly ties between Türkiye and Pakistan, Neziroğlu noted that TDV teams will conduct Qurbani organizations across various cities in Pakistan during Eid al-Adha. 

He also underlined the affection shown by the Pakistani people toward Türkiye and stressed that the shared history and cultural similarities between the two nations continue to strengthen bilateral relations. 

The meeting was also attended by Islamabad Religious Services Counselor Dr. Abdurrahman Akkuş.
