Islam attached great importance to reading, knowledge, and those who teach knowledge. Reading is the only way to enrich one’s perspective on life. As in our Holy Quran, whose first commandment is “Read,” Almighty Allah says, “Proclaim! And thy Lord Is Most Bountiful”.

The Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, in cooperation with the Presidency of Religious Affairs, launched the “My Present Is Book” project to provide the book, which is the source of knowledge, learning, and reading to more audiences and to contribute to the personal development of each individual.

The “My Present Is Book Project” aims to provide gifts for individuals and geographies who do not have access to the book, through donors’ aid, as well as to increase the knowledge and the habit of reading.

The “My Present Is Book” Project aims to reach students in our country and abroad, who are studying in schools, universities, Quran Courses, libraries that need it, youth and cultural centers, prisons, individuals who are just acquainted with Islam and want to be conscious, researchers, NGOs, Institutions and Organizations, and needy individuals to provide the awareness and habit of reading to individuals of all ages.

Our scientists, artists, and writers can donate their industrial rights and income to our Foundation.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said the following about the Sadaqah Jariyah: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Muslim, Vasiyya, 14; Tirmidhi, Ahkām, 36).

The glad tidings in this hadith have been given to the one who benefits from the knowledge that his reward reaches him after death. Patents, copyrights, or the proceeds you will donate, can be a cause of righteousness until the afterlife.
