We’re building family-warm dormitories where you can entrust your children with peace of mind. To provide our youth with higher education opportunities in a peaceful and clean atmosphere; We continue our efforts to improve the quality and number of the dormitories we have opened to guide them to create their world of knowledge, belief, and art. Our foundation has 48 higher education student dormitories in 29 provinces and 4 districts. We aim to open student dormitories in 81 provinces with new projects to be realized. Our goal is to bring male, female student dormitories, to our nation in every province, where our children, which is guaranteed by our future, can stay safe.

In cities where we don’t have dormitories, and to raise the success rate of our students, we open reliable, healthy, modern student houses under the supervision of our branches and the recommendation of our religious officials. We also support the material-spiritual development of students through organized activities in our student houses. We serve a total of 1,587 students in 33 provinces and districts throughout Turkiye.

To train well-equipped hafizes who will set an example for everyone with their morals and behavior, and to increase the number of hafız personnel in the central and provincial organizations and affiliates of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, we provide scholarships to students who study and become hafiz in Imam Hatip High Schools, which are allocated for the training of hafiz.

Within the scope of our cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, we allocated 64 buildings owned by our foundation to the Ministry of National Education to be used as Imam Hatip High Schools.

We have established 6 education coordinators in Ankara, Konya, Kayseri, and Bursa, two of them in Istanbul, to carry out our education activities more coordinated and to contribute to the financial and spiritual development of our students.

Our education coordinatorships include meeting rooms, reading, and resting areas created to contribute to the personal development of our students. Our students are finding ways to take advantage of the classes in need and inspiration organized by our coordinators, as well as seminars, conferences, and social activities.

We offer students from Muslim countries and communities the opportunity to attend Imam Hatip High School’s student programs in Türkiye with the cooperation of the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of National Education. 

Within the framework of the International Imam Hatip student program, we provide education to students from 73 countries at 

The International Anatolian Imam Hatip high schools in Kayseri, Konya, Bursa, Sivas, and Istanbul. 

The International Theological Program was launched in 2006 in cooperation with the Presidency of Religious Affairs with the aim of training human resources in areas of need, especially religious services, and religious education to Turkish citizens living abroad and for the Muslim countries and communities.

This program; provides religious higher-education opportunities in our country to students who have completed their high school education and to the youth of Muslim communities in regions where our citizens live, especially in European countries, such as America and Australia.

Students from 76 countries receive education in six theological faculties in our country. The program aims to share experiences in education with our region and train cultural ambassadors of our country worldwide. Scholarship, dormitory expenses, tuition fees, and transportation expenses are covered by the program. We set up coordination centers in the cities where our students are located to reinforce social institutions and faculty classes and create suitable

environments for them to sustain their education.

Our graduates, who have completed their education in the faculties of theology in our country, meet the human resources required in these countries in the fields of religious service, religious education, and social services with their scientific knowledge of Islamic theology as well as their proximity to local language and culture.

This program was launched to enlighten academicians to our citizens living abroad, Muslim minorities living in various countries, higher education institutions that provide education in the field of theology of Muslim countries and communities, and to support the development of academic staff of universities in those countries.

Within the scope of the program, graduate and doctoral students from 31 countries are currently studying.

We provide accommodation or cash scholarships to students who attend schools supported by our Foundation abroad and at International Imam Hatip High Schools, as well as continuing their education in medicine, engineering, architecture, law, and education faculties outside of the theology faculty.

Currently, 171 students from 40 countries are studying within the scope of this program.

We provide educational support to 25 institutions at the high school and university level whose needs are met by our foundation in 14 countries abroad.

Our students who graduate from the institutions we support contribute to the scientific, religious, and cultural development of the countries in which they live by working at different levels in universities, ministries, and schools, especially in religious institutions.

In cooperation with the Presidency of Religious Affairs, all expenses of The Quran Course students who come to our country from the Turkish Republics, Balkan countries, and autonomous republics of Russia, and specialization students and religious officials who come within the scope of the in-service education are covered by our foundation.

TDV Centre for Islamic Studies (ISAM) continues to strengthen its scientific studies, especially in the field of Islamic sciences and contributes to Islamic research with studies covering the Middle East, Central Asia, the Balkans, and North Africa.

Founded in 1983, ISAM has become a guiding, participatory research center that plays a leading role in Islamic research on an international scale, focuses on Islamic thought and Islamic sciences provide reliable, sustained, and original information production, management, and dissemination of beneficial and original information about Islamic religion, civilization and societies, and supports the training of researchers.

Moreover, qualified academicians trained by ISAM, who conducts scientific research either in Türkiye or abroad, continue their academic studies in various universities.

The Islamic Encyclopedia, the most important work of Türkiye Diyanet Foundation’s Center for Islamic Studies (ISAM), was prepared with the scientific study by approximately 2,000 writers and a powerful redaction team over 25 years.

The Islamic Encyclopedia, which is an important 44-volume source work for our cultural treasure, was awarded Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards in 2014. This rare work, which has been added to the Islamic world, consists of 16,855 substances that have been scanned from 500 basic sources.

The Islamic Encyclopedia is transferred to the digital environment and can be accessed for free online.

IlkSAY prepares the annual plans and programs of the books to be published by choosing written, audio, and video publications in line with the editorial policy of our foundation.

ILKSAY, which carries out broadcasts, conferences, seminars, open sessions, and similar meetings, competitions, and researches in the field of science, culture, art, education, has signed important projects such as hadith project classified according to its subjects, series of religious elders, Anatolian folk classics series, moral classics series.

The Tafsir project is underway according to the topics initiated to ensure a better understanding of the Quran by our generations and to deliver the universal message of the Quran to all segments of society.

This work called Islam with Hadiths, which invites us to explore the world of wisdom and mercy of our Prophet has been brought to our world of knowledge and culture by our foundation. The work presents the example of our Beloved Prophet over the ages to the reader in a simple and understandable language and original style.

The work, which is digitized and presented to the reader, is also the product of a participatory effort that reflects our country’s accumulation in the field of hadith, taking into account the current needs of society.

Since 1983, Turkiye Diyanet Foundation has been organizing a Turkish Book and Culture Fair in Istanbul and Ankara during Ramadan every year to bring together readers, writers, and publishers.

Turkiye Book and Culture Fairs, which were organized for the 38th time in 2019 and held in the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan, are followed with great interest by our people.

In our publishing houses across the country, more than 600 printed, audio, and video works belonging to our foundation and 12,000 books from approximately 150 publishing houses are presented to the readers.

KAGEM works systematically to provide society with accurate information in scientific, intellectual, cultural, and artistic terms.

KAGEM carries out seminars, conferences, panels, workshops, and scientific meetings, as well as activities aimed to strengthen the family.

KAGEM strives to engage in more active activities throughout the country. It organizes widespread education and academic events, especially for women and young people, on an inclusive basis, such as the Quran, culture and arts, family and father, Islamic intellectual history, iconic women seminars, youth forum, protective family panel, and fundamental Islamic sciences program.
