YUSUF ISLAM
Cat Stevens, a world-famous singer at the peak of his musical career… At the end of a spiritual search, he chose Islam, which was the milestone in Stevens’ life, and now is Yusuf Islam.
Since then, he became an example name with his humanitarian work. With the song “Peace Train” he composed, he explained that every person should do their function for exemplary things for the world.
He brought the Peace Train Project to life with the inspiration he got from his song. The Peace Train project set out to help the oppressed and victims around the world, and to bring them greetings, peace, and well-being. With his stance and actions, Yusuf Islam reached the hearts of both Muslims and Non-Muslims.
Europe’s first eco-friendly mosque was built in Cambridge, England inaugurated by our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Yusuf Islam, a member of the mosque’s board of trustees, once again emphasized the importance it attaches to our high religion and Muslims.
According to Yusuf Islam, goodness is that every Muslim does the best thing in what he does. The Muslim must produce the best music, write the best book and shoot the best film.
