As part of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation’s (TDV) “2024 Qurbani on behalf Donation Program,” around 1,500 cattle, equating to roughly 10,500 shares, will be slaughtered in Zimbabwe this year.
With the theme “Share Your Qurbani, Get Closer to Your Brother,” the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has completed all preparations for the “2024 Qurbani on behalf Donation Program” and will conduct Qurbanies in four regions of Zimbabwe: Buhera, Mutoko, Macheke, and Rushinga.
TDV official Seyit Akça, in his briefing about the organization in Zimbabwe prior to Eid al-Adha, indicated that the Qurbani animals have been meticulously checked, all preparations are complete, and they are awaiting Eid.
Akça noted that they will be conducting the slaughter of 1,500 cattle in Zimbabwe and distributing the meat to around 45,000 families in 10 regions.
