Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) will provide scholarships to 2,887 high school, undergraduate, and graduate students from 97 countries in the new academic year.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, 2,887 students, 1570 of whom were Turkish citizens and 1317 of whom were international, were authorized to obtain TDV’s education scholarship. With the new education period, the number of Turkish students with scholarships continuing their education in high schools and universities in Türkiye has become 3 thousand 206, and the number of foreign students with scholarships has become 3 thousand 240. Thus, the number of students receiving support under TDV’s scholarship programs reached 6 thousand 446.

On the other hand, 21 thousand 783 of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation scholarship holders completed their education and graduated. TDV Education Services Specialist Abdulkadir Sylka stated that international students who are qualified to receive scholarships have started to come to Türkiye.
Sylka stated that they welcomed Turkish and foreign students with TDV scholarships at airports and established them in dormitories, “Our foundation meets the dormitory, educational support, insurance, university registration procedures, tuition fees, and everything they need. Our students with international scholarships will obtain their education in Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, Kayseri, and Konya.”
