Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) continues its efforts before the Qurbani in order to deliver hundreds of thousands of Qurbanies donated by esteemed donors to millions of needy people.
Türkiye Diyanet Foundation General Manager Izani Turan, in his statement about the aid they will carry out on Eid Al Adha, said, “We will make millions of needy people smile within the scope of our Qurbani organization under the shadow of our flag, which we proudly carry on.”
Stating that they have become the benevolent representative of the Turkish nation with their charity activities for nearly half a century, İzani Turan stated that they are preparing to deliver the Qurbani shares to the needy first in Türkiye and then in our heartlands with the theme of “Share Your Qurbani Get Closer to Your Brother” on this Eid, as they do every year.
Stating that the Qurbani shares slaughtered and packaged under religious procedures will be placed in specially prepared boxes and packages with the Turkish flag on them and delivered to those in need, Turan said, “Our foundation officials and volunteers will distribute the Qurbani donation boxes with their blue colored vests with the Turkish flag and the Foundation logo on them. On Eid Al Adha, we present our moon-starred flag as well as the Qurbani share to the needy abroad who observe the path of the Turkish nation.”
Emphasizing that the Foundation has been carrying out the Qurbani organization since 1993 with a structure that complies with religious principles and provides confidence, Turan said, “We will deliver the generosity of our nation to the oppressed and victims in need all over the world. Thus, in addition to the meat of the Qurbani, the Turkish flag will also enter the homes of millions of sufferers around the world.”
Stating that the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation is one of the largest carriers of our moon-star flag with aid activities, Turan said, “our Foundation, which is leading the goodness in the world near the Half-century, is struggling to represent the honor, the love and the honor of the Turkish flag in a way that is worthy of its honor”.
“We wave our flag with charity activities we carry out”
Stating that the Foundation continues its charity activities in 149 countries with the support of benefactors, Turan said, “Where there are needy people, where there is trouble, wherever there is a tear, our Foundation is there to carry the burden of their conscience. We are fleeing our flag with the star of the aid activities we carry out.”
Sharing a memory of the love felt by the oppressed abroad for our country along with the aid activities, Turan said: “Our siblings who saw the Turkish flag on our blue vest during a visit I made to Ivory to deliver aid came and hugged us. Because we take care of the needy, our teams are greeted with the same affection and love wherever they go. The oppressed who see the Turkish flag, as our flag poet Arif Nihat Asya said in his poem, take shelter in the shadow of our flag and warm up in its red.
Those who used to go abroad for help always went there to get something from there. Our foundation, on the other hand, is not going to take something, but only to reach out to the oppressed, to the victim, to build bridges of hearts, and to deliver aid. We, as Türkiye, do not covet the oppressed mines of the countries we go to help, we strive to enter the hearts of our brothers. Alhamdulillah, we see the rewards of these good deeds in the best way. Alhamdulillah, our nation is aware of this, so it sees our Foundation as the safest charity.”
Turan said that donors can donate Qurbani from the online donation and mobile donation application from ‘tdv.org’ and ‘bagis.tdv.org’ addresses, as well as through provincial and district muftis, TDV branches, religious officials, all PTT branches, and banks. Turan added that the donation of Qurbani will be received from the provincial and district muftis in 81 provinces through the branches of the Foundation until the end of the first day of Eid.
