
The Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation distributed food packages to 154 needy families in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, during the month of Ramadan.
An aid distribution event was organized in the Osh city center square in the organization of the Osh Mayor’s Office and the Religious Services Consultancy of the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek.
“Turkiye’s Religious Services Consultancy has prepared food aid for 154 families in need as part of the holy month of Ramadan in Osh,” Osh Deputy Mayor Venera Rıskulova said in a statement.
Food packages consisting of 10 kilograms of flour, 5 kilos of sunflower oil, pasta, rice, sugar, and tea were distributed to those in need at the event attended by Religious Services Counsellor Mürsel Ozturk.
