
The Turkish Islamic Union of Religious Affairs (DITIB) delivered aid to the needy in Ghana within the framework of the Ramadan program launched in cooperation with the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) with the theme “there are siblings who need you”.
TDV Representative Onur İnan said that 2 food packages were distributed to needy families in the country, on the occasion of the Holy Ramadan.
Inan stated that they have drilled 7 water wells throughout the country and that they have distributed 3,000 English-language Holy Qurans as part of the “My Present Is Quran” project.
TDV Akra Religious Services Counselor Süleyman Kısaoğlu stated that all aid provided in the country was provided by Turkish benefactors.
Emphasizing that they are happy to deliver donors’ aid to needy people, Kisaoğlu said, “our benefactor has made the Ghanaian Muslims live full of Ramadan happiness. Ghanaian Muslims are always praying for our benevolent people.” said.
Kısaoğlu stated that these aid also strengthened the bonds of love and affection between the two countries.
