The Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) distributed the Holy Quran in Nigeria, one of the West African countries.
As part of the campaign “My Present Is Quran”, Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, and Kano state received 2,000 Holy Quran presents translated into the country’s local language.
In a statement made by the Foundation’s Nigerian Representative, Mehmet Savaş Eniç said that they distributed the Holy Quran in different countries of Africa as part of the campaign.
Noting that the TDV through this campaign aimed to distribute the Holy Quran in places beyond reach, Eniç said that in Nigeria, they were offering away the Holy Quran as a present to the needy, translated into English and local Yoruba.
