As part of its Qurbani on behalf program, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) will be slaughtering 1,200 cattle in Indonesia.
Ahead of Eid al-Adha, TDV volunteers are carrying out preparations in Indonesia under the Qurbani on behalf program.
TDV officials and volunteers, who have completed the Qurbani purchasing process, have also carried out their final inspections at the slaughterhouse.
In a statement, Enes Topal, the head of the Foundation’s Indonesia Qurbani Program, indicated that preparations for Eid al-Adha are still in progress in Indonesia.
Topal noted that a total of 1,200 cattle will be slaughtered in Indonesia and highlighted that the efforts are being carried out with volunteers.
Topal mentioned that they will be performing Qurbani slaughters in 12 regions across Indonesia, saying, “We will slaughter a total of 1,200 cattle: 150 in Aceh, 150 in Bima, 100 in Manggrai Barat, 200 in Sumbawa, 100 in Dompu, 150 in Central Maluku, 200 in Buru, and 150 in Gorontalo.”
Emphasizing the significance of volunteers in the Qurbani program, Topal stated, “This year, our foundation’s volunteers include actor Burak Haktanır and journalist Mehmet Ardıç.”
Topal added that they will conduct the Qurbani distribution with high precision.
