Through its Qurbani on behalf of our donor’s project, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) is set to distribute 8,400 shares of Qurbani meat to needy families across Afghanistan.
The TDV volunteers who arrived in Afghanistan convened at the Religious Services Office of the Turkish Embassy in Kabul.
After purchasing the animals at the local livestock market, TDV volunteers carried out inspections at the slaughterhouse where the Qurbani would take place, ensuring all preparations met the necessary standards.
On the first day of Eid al-Adha, which begins Saturday, June 7, in Afghanistan, 8,400 shares of Qurbani meat will be distributed to needy families.

Kandemir stated that the Qurbani animals entrusted by donors on their behalf will be slaughtered in five different regions of Afghanistan.
He noted that they had completed age and health inspections of the animals with the delegation from Türkiye and said:
“All our preparations are complete. The slaughterhouses are ready. The distribution plans are in place. We are now waiting for Eid al-Adha. On this occasion, I extend my congratulations to all the donors.”
