Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, President of Religious Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, stated: “If it weren’t for the support of Zionist Christians, who want to turn the world into a bloodbath, and the silence and indifference of nearly 2 billion Muslims, would the Zionist Jews be able to carry out massacres there?”

President of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, attended the ‘International Humanitarian Aid Summit: The Future of Gaza‘ program, organized in Istanbul by the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) and Al Khair Foundation.”

“Zionist Christians and Zionist Jews stand together in oppression.”

In his speech, President Erbaş reminded the audience of the holy  Quranic verse: “Cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.” He then stated, “When we look at the world today, we see that those who cooperate in evil and hostility outnumber those who cooperate in goodness. The most striking example of this is Gaza, Palestine… Zionist Christians and Zionist Jews have united, indiscriminately raining bombs on innocent people, including children and women. This is collaboration in sin and wrongdoing.”

Highlighting the history of Jerusalem, President Erbaş noted that the oppression and injustice there were also inflicted by the Romans in the past. He emphasized that when Muslims took control of the city, it transformed into a haven of peace.

President Erbaş emphasized that oppression in Palestine existed even before October 7, stating, “There have been multiple massacres in Palestine. Tens of thousands of martyrs have been lost, and the suffering in Jerusalem has continued for 76 years. Since October 7, we have had nearly 50,000 martyrs and more than 100,000 wounded, disabled, and ill individuals. All of this is happening in the 21st century, right before the eyes of the so-called civilized world.”

President Erbaş said, “Without the backing of Zionist Christians who seek to drown the world in blood, and without the silence and apathy of nearly 2 billion Muslims, could Zionist Jews carry out such massacres? O people, O Muslims, O those with a conscience—has humanity disappeared from your hearts? We have been repeating this for months. We cry it out to the world, we make it known. Yet, those who unite in evil persist in their crimes.”

“Hasn’t the moment arrived for us to step into the place of the innocent ones there?”

Referring to the Hadith, “A person is not a true believer until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself,’ President Erbaş stated, “Today they talk about empathy, but the foundation of that empathy was laid 14 centuries ago by our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Hasn’t the day come for us to imagine ourselves, and our children, in the place of those innocent people and children over there? How can we remain so indifferent? How can we eat so comfortably? How can we place our heads on soft pillows without care?’”

“200 aid trucks are set to be sent to Gaza.”

In his speech, President Erbaş mentioned that the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation and Al Khair Foundation will send 200 trucks of humanitarian aid, and added, ‘May Allah bless and grant the people of Gaza and Palestine freedom from this oppression and genocide, and may He bless Muslims with unity and solidarity to liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque, insha’Allah.’
