With the support of the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), an iftar program for nearly 1,000 Palestinian orphans and their mothers was organized in the Israeli-blockaded Gaza Strip.
Mahmoud al-Beyk, Head of the Social Research Department at the Ministry of Foundations in Gaza, declared that orphans and their mothers in Gaza were provided an iftar dinner with the support of TDV.
“We would like to thank Turkiye and the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation for their continued support to the Palestinian people who have been subjected to an Israeli blockade in the Gaza Strip,” Beyk said.
Israel has been blockading the Gaza strip, which has a population of about 2.1 million, from land, sea, and air since 2006.
