In cooperation with the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) and the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DITIB) in Germany, Eid clothes were distributed to 2,500 orphans, war victims, and displaced children in Sudan’s Kassala and Gedaref regions.
Within the scope of the 2025 Qurbani on behalf of our donors Program, TDV representatives and volunteers in Sudan delivered Eid clothing and footwear to children.
The children were overjoyed to receive their Eid clothes, with some expressing their gratitude by saying, “Thank you, Türkiye.” TDV staff and volunteers also assisted the children in selecting and putting on clothes that fit them properly.
Muhammet Yorulmaz from the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation in Sudan said that the distribution made both the kids and their families happy.

TDV’s Sudan Coordinator Yorulmaz highlighted the critical need for continued humanitarian aid amid conflict and praised the joy brought to children through cooperation with DİTİB.
