With the support of the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), iftar programs will be organized in Argentine for 230 Muslims per day during Ramadan.

In the capital city of Buenos Aires, many Muslims had their first iftar at a dinner prepared with the support of TDV near Al Ahmad Mosque.

In a statement, Şükrü Çetin, the Argentine Representative of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, said, “With the support of TDV, we will organize an iftar program for 200 people in Buenos Aires and about 30 people in Rosario every day during Ramadan, with the support of TDV in Turkiye, which is 14 thousand kilometers away. We had our first day today, we were very emotional, they expressed their satisfaction immediately to us.” he said.

Çetin drew attention to TDV’s aid and said, “We will provide about 800 food packages across the Argentine, and we will deliver food packages to other needy people, especially our Muslim brothers in Argentine.” he said.

Addressing the importance of solidarity for Muslims, Çetin said, “We are very happy to be with our Muslim brothers and sisters in our heartland. We send our greetings and thanks to TDV donors and supporters from here.” he stated.
