
As part of its Eid al-Adha Qurbani efforts, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), in cooperation with the Presidency of Religious Affairs, delivered Qurbani meat to 500 needy families in Kirkuk, Iraq.
The distribution took place at Adil Mosque in the Esra Mafkudin area, in coordination with the Iraqi Turkmen Brotherhood and Culture Association.
Hüseyin Kerim Salihi, President of the Iraqi Turkmen Brotherhood and Culture Association, expressed his gratitude to the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), which never forgets the needy in Kirkuk during Eid al-Adha.
Salihi stated that the donations entrusted by Turkish benefactors were successfully delivered to the needy and that 500 people in the district benefited from the meat distribution.
Expressing his contentment with the continued partnership with Türkiye Diyanet Foundation during Eid al-Adha, Salihi said, “Each year, we carry out aid efforts together. This time, we plan to deliver entrusted Qurbani to 2,000 needy families across Kirkuk.”
Fatma Gülcan Kervancı, a resident of Kirkuk who benefited from the Qurbani meat distribution, expressed her gratitude by saying that Turkish benefactors always remember them during every Eid. She thanked Türkiye and the Turkish people for always standing by the oppressed and the needy.
