Through the “Qurbani on behalf Slaughter Organization” by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), 1,500 cattle will be slaughtered in Sudan.
With all preparations finalized for the “2024 Qurbani on behalf Slaughter Organization,” TDV will carry out activities in Sudan’s Atbara and Kesele regions.
This year, around 1,500 cattle, amounting to 10,500 shares will be slaughtered in Sudan as part of the organization.
TDV volunteer Mehmet Barak shared information about the Sudan organization before Eid al-Adha, stating that all preparations have been made and they are awaiting the Eid.
Barak mentioned that the Presidency of Religious Affairs is set to organize Qurbani on behalf slaughters in nearly 80 countries this year and highlighted that they will conduct the activities in Sudan.
Barak stressed that they are handling the organization with sensitivity and stated the following:
“In Sudan, representing TDV, a team of 7 officials and volunteers will carry out the Qurbani worship of our citizens in two regions. All preparations for the planned slaughter of approximately 1,500 cattle have been finalized. We carefully conducted the inspections of the animals entrusted to us by our citizens, ensuring they met the criteria for Qurbani. Our citizens’ entrusted animals are well taken care of. We are grateful for their trust in TDV. We extend our best wishes for a blessed Eid to everyone.”
