Türkiye Diyanet Foundation supports orphans and needy families in Tanzania, spreading hope and joy

During holy Ramadan, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) delivered food aid and clothing to orphans and vulnerable families on Pemba Island, Zanzibar, Tanzania.

Thanks to the collaboration of TDV staff and volunteers, the aid packages included essential items such as oil, flour, rice, beans, and sugar, provided through the generosity of Turkish donors.

Students, orphans, and families receiving aid expressed heartfelt prayers for the benefactors during the distribution program.

Hamit Kardaş, TDV Corporate Communications Director, congratulated the families and emphasized TDV’s commitment to supporting the needy. Some families were seen transporting food packages by boat to nearby islands to reach other communities in need.
