Turkiye Diyanet Foundation to deliver the Holy Quran to 500,000 people in 2022

The Turkiye Diyanet Foundation will deliver 500,000 Holy Quran to the needy in 50 countries with Turkiye by the end of 2022 as part of My Present Is Quran project, which is carried out by the Presidency of Religious Affairs.

Within the scope of the project, 1,305,000 Holy Qurans printed in 36 languages and dialects in 81 countries with Turkiye have been delivered to the needy. Distributions continue in 8 languages and dialects.

İzani Turan, the General Manager of the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation, said that in Turkiye and around the world, they provide spiritual support as well as humanitarian aid to the needy who cannot reach the Holy Qur’an.

Turan stated that MyPresent Is Quran project is one of the main works, noted the following:

“We deliver the Word of Allah to those who have never seen the Holy Quran as Mushaf in their lives. During the Holy Month of Ramadan, we delivered the Quran to 100,000 people in our country and 22 countries. We present our life book to our brothers in all classes of society, especially in hospitals and prisons in our country, in education institutions and abroad, orphanages, madrasas, schools, and all those who have not yet reached the Holy Quran. Especially in African countries where hunger and poverty are at a premium, children are trying to learn and memorize the Holy Qur’an-i 

on wood and leather pieces called “Luh”. The Quran we offer to these people makes their lives easier and happier.

By the end of 2022, we will present a total of 500,000 Holy Quran in 8 different languages to our needy brothers and sisters in our country and around the world. After our work is completed, we will hopefully deliver Allah’s word to our brothers and sisters in need in 50 countries.”

Together with the Presidency of Religious Affairs, Turkish, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese Amera, Azerbaijani, Bambara, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chichewa, Danish, Darica, Armenian West, Armenian East, Persian, Georgian, Kazakh They have published translations of the Holy Quran in 36 languages in total, including Kyrgyz, Kurdish, Malayalam, Mongolian, Uzbek, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Samoan, Shona, Tamil, Tatar, Ukrainian, Uyghur, and Yoruba, and they are now being distributed in 8 languages. Turan Expresses, “We helped shape their lives around the Holy Quran by providing gifts to the needy in 81 countries, including Turkiye, with 1 million 305 thousand Holy Quran that we have printed in Turkiye and abroad since 2016.”
