20,000 Qurans, provided with the support of the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), were delivered to the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in Gaza.
Hani Sureyya, the representative of the Gaza aid Association, which mediated the distribution, stated that they received the Holy Qurans as part of the “My Present Is Quran” project organized by TDV.
Sureyya said that as part of the project, more than 50,000 Holy Quran will be distributed to Masjids and memories, including 20,000 in Gaza and 30,000 in the West Bank, including Al-Quds.
Abdul Hadi Al-Agha, The deputy of the Ministry of Awqaf, noted that the project was carried out to pay attention to the Holy Quran and to increase people’s connection to this holy book.
Al-Agha thanked TDV for their work on the distribution of the Holy Quran.
