Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), which will arrange aid organizations during Ramadan this year with the Presidency of Religious Affairs, will carry out its work with the theme of “Hoped For One Is You, May Our Brotherhood Be Blessed with Zakat”.
Aiming to reach 10 million needy people in 273 regions in Turkiye and 83 countries with the support of benefactors, TDV plans to distribute shopping cards to 72,150 families, Bairam clothes for 8,800 people, food packages for 153,586 families abroad, iftar rations for 114,13 families and Bairam clothing for 13,000 people.
In 2021, TDV, which continues to donate to 1003 branches of supporters in Turkiye, provided 78 million 300 thousand TL in 207 regions in 75 countries during Ramadan.
TDV will open 101 water wells and foundation fountains in 17 countries within the scope of “A Drop of Life Water Well” and “Foundation Fountain” projects during Ramadan and will provide people with clean drinking water. 650,000 more people will have access to clean water with new water wells and foundation fountains to be opened in the Holy month.
