Azerbaijan’s succeeded students from TDV Baku Turkish High School

4 students of the Baku Turkish High School of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation in Azerbaijan succeeded to become the first in the country with the scores they received in this year’s university and high school entrance exams, while one student came second in the country. All 128 students who graduated from the school were entitled to enroll in the university.

Students of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) Baku Turkish High School were impressed with their success in this year’s university and high school entrance exams.

TDV Baku Turkish High School, which was founded by TDV in Azerbaijan in 1994 with the support of benefactors and became one of the most successful schools in the country in a short time, added a new one to its achievements this year.

During this year’s university and high school entrance exams, four students of the Turkish TDV Baku High School achieved the country’s first position with their scores and one student came in second. Of the 128 students who graduated from the school, all qualified to enroll in the university.

Kadir Bektaşoğlu, Director of TDV Baku Turkish High School, announced that all the needs of the school, which has been continuing education for 28 years in Azerbaijan, are met by the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation.

It is cited as the most successful among the approximately 4,500 high schools.

Bektaşoğlu stated that they provide education under the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan curriculum and said that TDV Baku Turkish High School is the most successful among 4 thousand 432 high schools operating in the country. Bektaşoğlu stated that the school contributed significantly to relations between Türkiye and the sister country of Azerbaijan.

Emphasizing that they care about the records achieved by their students, Bektaşoğlu said, “Abdurrahman Kazımov, one of our engineering group graduates, became the first in the country with 400 full points and Reşat Niftaliyev, one of our law group graduates, by a score of 394 points. In addition, in the 9th-grade secondary school graduation exams this year, Aydan Kanberova and Esmer Hasanlı, one of our 3 students, achieved 300 full points and became the first in the country, and Nuray Salmanova was the second in the country by a score of 298 points.”

Bektaşoğlu also mentioned that TDV Baku Turkish High School has achieved success in every field and said, “According to official statistics, we are cited as one of the most successful schools in the country

in both university exam results and internal and international science olympiads, social and cultural events, and we are highly respected as a school in Azerbaijan.”

First position in 33 countries for 21 years

Bektaşoğlu also provided information about the achievements of TDV Baku Turkish High School in the past and said:

“1898 students have graduated from our school so far. Between 2001 and 2022, 33 of our students who graduated from our school succeeded to become the first in the country in university exams. In this sense, the record of educational achievement in Azerbaijan belongs to our school. All of our graduates have been successful in university exams, have completed their education in more than 50 countries of the world, or continue their education. Our siblings who have completed their education have commenced working as teachers in our high school or different ministries and institutions of the country.”

Bektaşoğlu, providing information that students are accepted to TDV Baku Turkish High School with an exam, said, “Every year, an average of 1500-1800 students participate in our 5th-grade admission exam; however, due to the quota problem, only the students with the highest scores between 120-140 are accepted. Although the achievements of our students make us happy, our main goal in our educational activity is to raise our students in a way that contributes to the morality, faith, character, and brotherhood of the two countries as well as knowledge and to have the contemplation of being useful to humanity.”

Bektaşoğlu also thanked those who contributed to the success of the school and said: “The contribution of our devoted teachers to the success of our school in every field is enormous; However, the biggest factor in our success and the most deserving of thanks and prayers is the support and self-sacrifice of TDV and TDV’s honorable board of trustees.”
