In Azerbaijan, Qurbani meat started to be distributed to needy people by Turkish charities.

Aid activities carried out regularly by the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) are continued this year, and Qurbani meat will be distributed to the needy in Azerbaijan.

The meat of Qurbani, which was slaughtered under the supervision of veterinarians, was meticulously examined and put into 3-kilogram packages and made ready to be delivered to the needy.

Zeki Yavuzyılmaz, Azerbaijan Baku Religious Services Counselor of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, stated that they will distribute 1190 shares of Qurbani meat in three regions, Baku, Aran, and Sheki this year.

Yavuzyılmaz stated that they will primarily deliver the meat of the Qurbani to the needy, poor people, relatives of martyrs, and veterans. Their distribution was carried out under the slogan “Share your Qurbani, Get closer to your brother”.

Yavuzyılmaz said, “Azerbaijan and we are two states and one nation. We are pleased to provide this service. In addition to the distribution of Qurbani, we will visit the families of the martyrs. We’ll have Eid presents for the children, and book gifts for the elders. We would like to thank our donors who sent presents to their siblings from Türkiye. May Allah accept their Qurbani donations.”
