A Goodness Bazaar was launched in İzmir through the cooperation of the Karşıyaka District Mufti’s Office and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation branch to support Gaza.
Set up in the courtyard of the Cumhuriyet Pazaryeri Mosque, the bazaar offered a variety of items — from clothes and jewelry to handmade gifts — all for a noble cause.
Volunteer women also prepared and sold homemade meals, pastries, and desserts, turning their efforts into a heartfelt gesture of solidarity.
Every purchase made by visitors became a contribution of hope for the people of Palestine.
Speaking at the event, Karşıyaka District Mufti and TDV Branch President Hayri Cihangeri emphasized that the situation in Gaza is now a humanitarian issue that concerns all of humanity.
Cihangeri stated that following the ceasefire in Gaza, they sincerely wish for peace to prevail:
“Our Dua is that our siblings there will soon find peace and rebuild their homeland. The Turkish nation has always been a guiding and trusted presence throughout history. Today, with the heartfelt efforts of our team, we have opened this goodness bazaar, and all proceeds will be delivered to Gaza through the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation.”
Volunteer Hazal Bulut shared her joy in contributing, saying that she was deeply moved to be able to support the people of Gaza.
