Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) carried out a special program for children at Hagia Sophia-i Kebir Cami-i Sharif.
The program was coordinated by Sertac Gungor, a YouTuber known as “Sertaç Abi”, who develops content for children on his Youtube channel; and this program has demonstrated great interest among children with their families. Sertac Abi, who chatted with the children about national and spiritual values, by asking them questions, and they answered those questions.
The event was also visited and supported by Ihsan Acik, II Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation; Declaring that this is the first time such a program has been carried out for children in Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya) Mosque, and he said that they have carried out projects aimed at youth as an assurance of the future and that the Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya) Mosque meeting is one of them.
Acık also stated that it has been scientifically proven that learning by having fun and playing games is permanent and easier. “Our YouTuber, Sertac abi, who has become a love for children, has did not leave us alone in this program.”
We are struggling to make it easier for our children to teach our national and spiritual values and to protect them from the pitfalls of malevolent people.
We strive to do the activities that children love with the people they are interested in. We believe SertacAbi is the right person in this sense,” he said. The program with the children was also broadcast live on the TDV Media YouTube channel.
