TDV distributes Qurbani meat in Albania

Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) made Qurbani in Tirana, the capital of Albania, to distribute the meat to the needy.

The Qurbani meats slaughtered by TDV under the auspices of the Religious Services Counsellor of the Turkish Embassy in Tirana were distributed to needy families who are members of the Albania-based Association for the Assistance of the Disabled.

Religious Services Counsellor Adem Gerlegiz said in a statement that Türkiye will continue to extend a helping hand all over the world.

Stating that these Qurbani of benefactors in Türkiye, Gerlegiz continued:

“Our Prophet (ﷺ) says,The best of people are those who are most beneficial to people.” As long as the world stands still, the Turkish nation and Türkiye will always continue to serve and benefit people. He and Abu Sa’id reported the Prophet as saying, “No Muslim is afflicted by difficulty, continuous pain, anxiety, grief, injury, or care, or even by a thorn with which he is pierced, without God thereby making an atonement for his sins.” Türkiye and the Turkish nation have always acted with this understanding. Our brothers and sisters in Türkiye, the Turkish nation, expect only a prayer of charity from you in return for this aid. Please do not withhold your blessings from Türkiye, the Turkish nation, and us.”

TDV will deliver Qurbani meat to around 220 families across Albania.
