TDV supports nearly 45,000 students worldwide in the 2024-2025 academic year. Highlighting that every investment in education is an investment in the future, TDV prioritizes educational activities in Türkiye and beyond.
TDV conducts dormitories, schools, and universities while offering education to students from 114 countries through its international programs—building bridges between nations.
In cooperation with national institutions, TDV promotes equal educational opportunities and enhances intercultural exchange by bringing students together from across the world.
Scholarships, education, and support programs
Within the foundation’s scholarship programs, 3,185 students in Türkiye and 3,405 students in international programs pursued their studies during the 2024–2025 academic year. In addition to covering tuition, accommodation, transportation, books, stationery, and healthcare expenses, the foundation also supported students’ academic and personal development through language courses, art workshops, cultural trips, and camp programs. Under the Civil Society School (STO) Project, 23 students successfully graduated.
Beyond Türkiye, TDV has supported 9,396 students abroad, with 20,198 graduates benefiting from its opportunities to date. Today, the foundation continues to conduct 28 active education projects across 12 countries.
Educational activities are being carried out in 12 countries
Since 1992, TDV has been involved in 12 countries, including Azerbaijan, Palestine, and Somalia, supporting communities through schools, Qur’an courses, dormitories, and orphanages, benefiting thousands of students with free education and scholarships.
During the last academic year, Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) extended support to 44,130 students through its national and international scholarship programs, Istanbul 29 Mayıs University, 29 Mayıs Educational Institutions, student dormitories, student houses, and educational institutions abroad.
Looking ahead to the new term, TDV plans to enhance students’ academic achievements while prioritizing initiatives such as regional reading activities, arts and crafts workshops, career networking events, and innovative student-led projects.
