Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) General Manager Izani Turan and the accompanying delegation in the West African country of Ivory Coast as part of Ramadan aid visited Turkiye’s Abidjan Ambassador Havva Yonca Gündüz Özçeri.
During the visit to the embassy residence, Turan briefed Özçeri about the charity activities of the foundation in the Ivory Coast.
Turan stated that they support the oppressed and the victims regardless of their religion, and identity, and said that our officials strive to carry out this mission in different geographies.
Özçeri stressed that Turkiye’s aid to Ivory Coast was highly appreciated and that friendship and cooperation between the two countries increase.
Özçeri said that the work of the TDV carried out in Ivory Coast was very important for Turkiye’s visibility in the country and that it was valuable to see the non-governmental organizations located in Africa, as they helped despite the differences in belief.
Expressing her satisfaction with the visit, Özçeri thanked TDV General Manager Turan and his associates.
At the end of the meeting, Turan presented flowers to Ambassador Özçeri.
During the visit, TDV volunteer rap artist Resul Aydemir also took part.
