
TDV, within the framework of the Qurbani organization, is continuing its preparations in Niger ahead of Eid al-Adha.
TDV volunteers, who arrived in Niger a while ago, conducted fieldwork in various regions to identify Qurbani animals and slaughter areas.
During the oversight of Associate Professor Dr. Osman Yılmaz from Van Yüzüncü Yıl University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, volunteers continued the tagging process of Qurbani animals, and the training of personnel involved in the organization was also concluded.
Muhammed Furkan Özkan, TDV’s coordinator for Niger, reported that preparations are continuing in Niger ahead of Eid al-Adha.
Özkan emphasized that they will initially distribute around 25,000 shares of Qurbani meat to the needy, mentioning that the work is being conducted with volunteers.
Özkan highlighted that about 40 volunteers will be involved in distributing Qurbani meat, attracting attention to the importance of volunteers’ roles in such a significant organizational effort.
Özkan explained their meticulous approach to selecting Qurbani animals in Niger and provided details about the aspects they prioritize.
Özkan highlighted their commitment to handling the slaughter and distribution of Qurbani animals with the same level of sensitivity, affirming that the organization operates with transparency.
