Training was provided to personnel who will serve in Ethiopia during Eid al-Adha under Türkiye Diyanet Foundation’s (TDV) 2024 Qurbanion behalf program.
Volunteers from various regions of Türkiye gathered at the location where Qurbani animals were kept in Ethiopia, organized by TDV’s Addis Ababa Religious Services Counsellorship.
Volunteers were reported on the regions where they would serve, and they were informed about the necessary precautions to be taken during the Qurbani slaughter.
Çuhadar declared that they have mostly finished their preparations for the Qurbani organization, adding, “This year, we aim to deliver 38,500 shares entrusted by our people to our brothers and sisters in 29 regions. We anticipate an increase in the number of additional donations before the Eid Al
Adha. We are grateful to our people for their confidence. 35 volunteers will be involved in this year’s event.”
Burak İnce, the TDV Representative in Ethiopia, mentioned that they had reminded teams about the importance of sensitivity in the context of the Qurbani program, stating, “As of tomorrow, we will be deploying teams to their respective regions. We extend our gratitude to our donors.”
