The Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has begun gathering the inspiring stories of people who lead with goodness for this year’s International Benevolence Awards, an initiative dedicated to spreading goodness and strengthening international awareness.
Held under the auspices of the Presidency and through the support of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the 9th International Goodness Awards will take place during Benevolence Week, from March 13 to 20, 2026.
Launched in 2015, the awards honor those who inspire hope, uplift their communities, and unite people from different cultures through acts of compassion.
The deadline for submitting nominations is December 25
In this context, exemplary stories of benevolence from Türkiye and all corners of the world will be accepted until 25 December 2025.
People wishing to nominate a candidate may submit their stories via email to iyilikodulleri@tdv.org. Comprehensive program information is available on www.iyilikodulleri.com.
With the esteemed attendance of his excellency president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the awards ceremony will take place during Benevolence Week at the Presidential Complex, Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center, where leading contributors to humanitarian values in Türkiye and abroad will be honored. The ceremony will also feature the presentation of the “Loyalty Award.”
Stories pre-selected by the evaluation commission will be presented to the selection board—of which Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş, President of Religious Affairs and Chairman of the TDV Board of Trustees, is a member—for final voting. The winners will be announced to the public during the 9th International Benevolence Awards program.
