With more than 38 million dollars in humanitarian aid delivered to Palestinians so far, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) remains a lifeline for Gaza. Since October 2023, TDV has reached 8,718,424 people with vital relief supplies and continues to serve 15,000 hot meals every single day.
Amid the devastation caused by Israeli attacks, TDV sends regular shipments of food, clothing, shelter materials, medical supplies, hygiene kits, medicine, equipment, and baby necessities to ease the suffering. Following the cease-fire, the Foundation ramped up its efforts and, together with AFAD and the Turkish Red Crescent, ensured that every aid package reached those who needed it most.
To date, TDV has provided over 2.1 million hot meals in Gaza and maintains its daily service to 15,000 people. Additionally, it distributes 2,000 packages of bread each day, delivers 600 tankers of clean water every month, and has supplied a remarkable 952 tons of flour.
The Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has contributed significantly to the health sector in Gaza by providing 50,000 liters of fuel and five truckloads of medical supplies to local hospitals. Over a period of more than two years, TDV has delivered 16,000 beds, blankets, and pillows; 5,600 winter outfits; 21,550 hygiene packages; 100 diaper packages; 3,000 units of baby formula; 1,000 emergency kits; 200 walking crutches; and 1,000 wheelchairs for civilians affected by the conflict.
Furthermore, TDV extended financial support to 36,669 Gazan families, offering cash aid of 100 to 200 US dollars each. To address immediate shelter needs, the foundation has set up 1,440 tents and continues to work on the construction and rehabilitation of water wells, a critical necessity given the extensive damage to Gaza’s infrastructure.
Since October 2023, TDV has dispatched 1,100 humanitarian aid trucks to Gaza. Including seasonal support during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha, the foundation has reached a total of 8,718,424 beneficiaries in Gaza, exceeding 38 million dollars in humanitarian aid delivered to Palestinians.
Aid shipments and on-ground distributions remain ongoing after the cease-fire.
