Qurbani were slaughtered by Türkiye Diyanet Foundation in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, to be distributed to the needy.
TDV officials and volunteers participated in the slaughter at an abattoir in the village of Studeničani in the capital Skopje.
Mustafa Mesten, Counsellor for Religious Services at the Turkish Embassy in Skopje, said they carried out Qurbani on the needy’s behalf, which is an organization of TDV.
Mesten said, “As every year, we are here to fulfill this trust with volunteers and officials from our Türkiye Diyanet Foundation to carry out the Qurbani campaign launched by our Türkiye Diyanet Foundation with the slogan ‘Share your Qurbani, get closer to your brother’.”
“We will strive to distribute these Qurbani to needy families, in our northern Macedonia, especially in Muslim Turkish villages in eastern Macedonia,” Mesten said, welcoming the campaign. he used his statement.
Emphasizing that the purpose of the Qurbani is not to distribute meat, Mesten said, “We are here to establish and consolidate brotherhood bridges with our homeland Türkiye, and fraternity bridges are established and consolidated to continue it forever.” he said.
