Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) distributed 5,000 double-sized blankets to vulnerable families in Gaza as part of its winter relief efforts.
Maintaining continuous humanitarian aid amid the ongoing crisis, the foundation intensified its activities following the ceasefire, focusing on families living in tents and those receiving treatment in hospitals across northern and central Gaza.
The blankets were transported by trucks decorated with Turkish and Palestinian flags and delivered to needy families through TDV’s partner organizations amid Gaza’s war-ravaged streets.
Since October 2023, TDV has provided humanitarian aid to more than 9.15 million people in Gaza, with total aid exceeding USD 41.9 million.
