The Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) distributed 4,000 food packages to the needy in Yemen.
In a written statement, Yemeni NGO Human Access Association Secretary Abdülvasi al-Vasi stated that support for TDV provided aid to displaced and needy Yemeni families.
Vasi stated that 4,000 packages of Ramadan rations were distributed with the contribution of TDV, and iftar was provided to 5,000 people in 12 provinces.
Vasi mentioned that they are carrying out aid and development projects in various regions of Yemen and thanked the TDV for the support they provide to their projects.
Nearly 377,000 people have been killed in Yemen in years of conflict between the Iran-backed Houthis and government forces. The humanitarian crisis that has grown due to the civil war in Yemen, which is among the poorest countries in the world, has reached terrible dimensions.
