Türkiye Diyanet Foundation Provides Monthly Financial Aid to Orphans in Nigeria. As part of its “Orphan Sponsorship Project”, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has delivered monthly financial support to orphans in Nigeria.
In addition to cash aid, TDV distributed school supplies to orphans in Abuja and Nasarawa State.
Hüseyin Ortaç, TDV’s Religious Services Counselor in Abuja, stated that the aid sent from Türkiye brings hope to many orphans in Nigeria.
“These donations from Turkish benefactors help cover the basic needs of the orphans. As TDV, we will continue to stand by vulnerable children across different parts of the world,” Ortaç said.
He emphasized the importance of both material and emotional support:
“Supporting orphans in Nigeria is not just charity for us it is a significant responsibility.”
The aid efforts, which brought joy to the children, were also met with appreciation by families in the region.
TDV continues to carry out impactful projects in education, health, nutrition, and shelter, particularly across Africa.
